For ProFootballCentral, I sat down recently with Atlanta Falcons cornerback Antoine Harris. Out of Louisville, the young Harris talks about his goals and preparation, and where he might fit in on the team.
The “Garbage Man,” as his teammates playfully call him, Harris grew accustomed to playing multiple positions in 2007, including nickel back and safety.
This year, he’ll have a new teammate to get accustomed to playing with, in LSU CB Chevis Jackson. Harris says he’s already talked to and is quite close to Jackson, and has helped him on and off the field throughout the off-season.
Though he’s from the sports-crazy state of Ohio, Harris didn’t really have any favorite teams growing up; however, he did take a liking to Barry Sanders and the way he played the game.
You can hear my interview with him, including everything else he has to say, by clicking here.
